Hello, this is Yoi from Ashoka Japan. We would like to update you all about the recent event we held.
At the end of last year, we were able to organized an in-person event called We Are the Change x Kansai at Osaka.
It was three-part: 1) keynote speech by Makoto Watanabe, a newly elected Ashoka Fellow, 2) presentations by 5 Youth Venturers, and 3) free talk with Makoto and youth on the topic of "changemaker." More than 30 people joined, and there was a lively energy in the room, full of excitement!
To build a community and movement of Everyone a Changemaker from Kansai region, we decided to hold such in-person event every three months where the youth can inspire each other and the adults can learn how to better support youth to be changemakers.
The next one is in two weeks, on Saturday, April 9. If you are around Osaka and would like to join, please let us know!
