Dear supporters and donors,
Last Saturday, four newly elected Youth Venturers gathered in Tokyo. It was nice to see them getting to know each other while chatting about projects and other personal stories! Check out the attached photos!
Here are the two more who got elected in June 18:
Hayato invented a cookie that will help patients with heavy food allergy build immunity for the food, reducing the risk of accidentally having reaction which might lead to death. This project was born from Hayato's experience witnessing his little brother with several severe food allergy and how his mother also had to work hard for it.
Satomi created a class kit with a set of Karuta game to learn about cervical cancer for middle and high school students. She hopes that every student will gain proper knowledge and make a decision on their own.
This small community of young changemakers seems hope in Japan, and we would keep finding more young people like them while trying to create an ecosystem to nurture those youth in the future.
Thank you for your support!
Best,
Yoi on behalf of Ashoka Japan team
