Rural Wellness Outreach: Empowering Health
Prime Trust conducts Medical Outreach in Vadaputhur Village, Villupuram District
Prime Trust, alongside iMed Hospitals and JAS Eye Care, led a successful medical outreach on December 29, 2023, providing free eye screenings and general healthcare at Vadaputhur village in Villupuram District. Headed by Mr. S.M. Arasu, Prime Trust's Founder and Managing Director, the event received strong support from local leaders. The medical team offered not only eye screenings but also crucial information on flu precautions. Blood pressure and sugar level checks were conducted, benefitting approximately 120 individuals and highlighting Prime Trust's commitment to community well-being. Some of the individuals were referred to the local hospital for getting free cataract surgery. Prime Trust collaborated with a local church and village administration for making this event.

Joyful Christmas Festivities at Janani Home: A Celebration on December 23, 2023
The staff of Prime Trust, in collaboration with the children of Janani Home, joyously celebrated Christmas on December 23, 2023, at Janani Home. Ms. Shelpa, a guest from UK graced the occasion as the guest of honour. The festivities commenced with a beautiful prayer song. Mr. S.M. Arasu, the Founder and Managing Director of Prime Trust, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the remarkable achievements of Prime Trust in the year 2023. The interns from various fields were felicitated. The children from Janani Home showcased their talents through mesmerizing dance performances, soulful songs, and heartfelt speeches. Pastor Stephen delivered the Christmas message and led a prayer, creating a moment of reflection and gratitude. The spirit of giving and camaraderie was evident as gifts were exchanged among the staff. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, and a delightful get-together dinner.

Internship opportunities for Social Work Interns
Prime Trust welcomes Social Work students for their Internship Program!
Prime Trust extends a warm welcome to the six BSW interns from Christ College, Kerala, who commenced their internship with Prime Educational and Social Trust in Puducherry on December 2, 2023. The Founder Director of Prime Trust, greeted the interns and provided a comprehensive overview of the NGO's diverse activities. The interns were introduced to the dedicated staff members, and Mr. Arasu outlined the objectives of their internship.
This initial interaction served as a valuable opportunity for rapport-building among the interns and the Prime Trust team. The interns also shared their own objectives for the internship during this introductory session. The team looks forward to a fruitful internship as they embark on this enriching learning experience. The students will involve themselves with the programs run by Prime Trust.
