Meet Luis. For a long time, his life was marked by precarious conditions and deep vulnerability. He went from having almost nothing — “just two plates,” as he recalls — to finding a place where he could finally feel safe, cared for, and at peace.
Through the support of our organization, Luis began to rebuild his daily life with dignity. What may seem simple — a stable space, proper care, and a sense of order — became something extraordinary for him. Today, he describes his new living conditions as “a palace,” not because of luxury, but because of the security, warmth and respect he now experiences every day.
Behind this transformation is the ongoing work of our teams, who accompany older adults not only with care, but with human connection, presence, and dignity.
