A major challenge faced by persons with disabilities is the lack of mobility. A contributing factor to this challenge is dependence on support, as the absence of assistive devices prevails. A wheelchair for physically disabled, a hearing aid for hearing & speech impaired, and a white walking cane for visually disabled present themselves as a ray of hope for the PWDs as through their provision, PWDs are able to place foot in the journey of self-reliance. Assistive devices become a matter of independence and breaks the barriers that prevent PWDs from actively participating in society. Since, cost of the devices are high and majority PWDs living in poverty find it impossible to get a hold of them throughout their lives, we make it our mission to facilitate those with assistive devices such as wheelchairs, crutches, hearing aids etc. through your generous donations. Help us reach our goal of disability inclusion through paving way for PWDs to the reach independence as many more remain to be catered to.
