Dear Members of GlobalGiving,
This clinic is in Moshwani Village in Kalakan province 40 miles north of Kabul, providing medical care to 9000 villagers.
This clinic is for outpatients and has 11 emloyees providing general medical care, vaccinations, pre- and post-natal care, minor surgery, dental work and birth control.
Since awareness of covid 19 started in March 2020, the staff of the clinic started taking the necessary steps and informing the patients and the villagers.
When a patient enters the clinic: (a) patient should have a mask; (b) record their temperature; (c) hands sprayed with alcohol. If patient has fever and other signs and symptoms of Corvid 19, they are referred to the special center for testing of Covid 19. So far one case of Covid 19 had been diagnosed in the clinic, and he referred to main center in Kabul.
I also want to inform you that Moshwani Payan Village is safe place, unaffected by the fighting unlike other regions. Moshwani village is a community mostly of farmers who live off their land. They are not involved in local or national political conflicts
