In the midst of four decades of conflict and dire economic conditions, Afghanistan's future remains uncertain. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who have stood by us and supported the Organization for the Advancement of Afghan Women.
OAAW remains resilient and flourishing in Moshwani Payns village, located in Kalakan Province. Our presence is crucial, as the Moshwani Payan outpatient clinic stands as the sole medical facility in the region. Our clinic has experienced an unprecedented demand from the villagers of Moshwani Payan. Additionally, we have extended our care to two public schools within walking distance, recognizing their lack of dedicated medical facilities.
OAAW continues to provide essential support, including salaries for 14 employees, medical care, medication, minor surgeries, vaccinations, and dental care, all free of charge.
Through GlobalGiving we hope to attract donors to help pursue our work for 2024. There is now severe flooding in Afghanistan due to flash floods causing muds to bury children and villages. We hope to be able to respond to the victims of this catastrophe.
Thank you.
