Dear GlobalGiving Members:
On behalf of the Organization for the Advancement of Afghan Women, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the past 23 years of our dedicated work in Afghanistan. Your partnership has been instrumental in enabling us to pursue our mission, and we truly could not have achieved these milestones without your encouragement and generosity.
Completed Projects:
In 2004, we successfully constructed the Aymini School in Kabul, a brand new facility that accommodates 3,000 students. Early on, we also contributed to the development of their library, firther enhancing educational opportunities for the community.
Regrettably, following the Taliban;s takeover, young girls have been prohibited form attending school, although boys can continue their education at the Aymini School. This situation remains a significant concern for us and underscores the importance of ongoing advocacy and support.
Outpatient Clinic in Moshwani Payan:
Our Outpatient clinic, located in Moshwani Payan, approximately 40 miles north of Kabul, continues to serve as a vital healthcare center for 9,000 residents. All healthcare services are provided free of charge, ensuring accessible, essential care for the community.
