Finishing the cage, and end of year challenge

Hi Donors,

A couple of great pieces of news today. First of all, the new cage is almost complete- have a look at in the photos attached. It is looking fantastic, and fortunately will be finished well in time for this years babies to move into when they are ready early next year.

The other good news is that our project has been chosen for an end-of-year challenge. If we can raise $3000 in December, from more than 30 donors, we become elgible for some big cash bonuses. I know its a big ask, but many charities get a lot of their donations at this time of year. Perhaps some of your friends or family  might like to give a donation on your behalf, instead of a christmas present. One fantastic option would be to "sponsor" a baby, for $120. For a limited time, donors who sponsor a baby bat will recieve a fabulous bat finger puppet, handmade by villagers in Peru (I'm not making this up you know!). They are highly desirable and much more excusive and wonderful than most other presents you might recieve.

Remember that is a time of particular need, because we currently looking after a large number of the hear-stress babies from Casino (see the previous report).

Many people don't know what is involved in caring for a baby bat, so in the next few weeks we'll be giving you updates on how some of the babies are progressing before they move into the new cage.

Thank you so much for your on-going support.
