Empowering Girls' Art and Visibility on Afghan TVs

Our boys have captivated audiences with numerous public performances across various venues, including televised showcases. However, it is the remarkable performances by girls on Afghan TVs that truly stand out. Under the new circumstances, they have performed twice, in April and June, marking a significant milestone. These televised performances hold immense importance in setting new standards for children's art, amplifying the visibility and rights of girls in Afghanistan.

Our goal is to secure and sustain the minimum possible experience of childhood, fun, and joy for children, particularly girls, while also becoming a source of inspiration and motivation for others. Expanding the Reach of Social Circus: 27 Teams and Counting

Our social circus initiative has made remarkable progress, with a network of 27 teams now operating in 12 provinces across Afghanistan. Among these teams, we are proud to have six led by female team leaders, showcasing the invaluable contributions of women in this domain especially for girls. Additionally, one team is led by a team leader with a disability, demonstrating our commitment to inclusivity and empowering individuals with diverse abilities in a center dedicated to disabled children. Furthermore, we are thrilled to have received many applications from enthusiastic youth aiming to establish their own social circus teams. These aspiring teams are currently undergoing evaluation to potentially join our growing network. Our vision is to continue expanding, both in terms of team numbers and leadership quality as we strive to enhance their impactful work with and for children. Looking ahead, our ambitious goal is to have 40 active Social Circus Teams operating in 20 provinces of Afghanistan by the end of next year. Through this expansion, we aim to create even greater opportunities for children and promote positive social change throughout the country.

We're excited to be in the planning stages for our annual Festivals of Social Circus and Championships. Despite the challenges, we always find solutions to make these events happen.
