Xiao-Ting (pseudonym) is a young adult with mild autism. Through the Foundation’s supported employment services, he successfully joined ABC-MART as a warehouse staff member, responsible for restocking and maintaining store cleanliness.
The journey was not easy. Initially, Xiao-Ting faced challenges in recognizing numbers and letters, and remembering individual shoe models and their locations. The store manager arranged a dedicated mentor to guide him, focusing first on learning by brand and helping him adapt to the work environment.
Thanks to this opportunity, Xiao-Ting can now demonstrate his abilities and contribute meaningfully!
Every child has their own strengths. With the right support and guidance, they too can find their place in society and shine.
