We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Siavonga: construction has officially started on a new classroom at Katulumba Community School!
Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to take a huge step forward in expanding the school and offering better learning conditions to the students. The need for space has become urgent, with over 780 children currently enrolled and only 4 classrooms available. This new building will be a lifeline for many students who are eager to learn but currently face overcrowded conditions.
In the attached photos, you can see the very first stage of this transformation - the digging of the foundations. What may look like just a hole in the ground is, in fact, the start of something powerful: a place where children will grow, learn, and build their future.
We are incredibly grateful for all those who have helped us reach this point. Your support is making a direct, tangible difference. But the journey doesn't end here.
We still need your help to complete this classroom and continue improving the learning environment at Katulumba. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal of offering every child the right to a safe and welcoming education space.
Let’s keep building, together.
With gratitude,
Marco
