Basketball Clinic for 500 school kids in Nigeria

Thank you for your generous donations that supported Time Out 4Africa Foundation during the September Challenge. Your donations have been used towards ongoing projects. Since the challenge, we are happy to announce the completion of another basketball court restoration at Police Secondary School in Minna. With the help of local staff and volunteers we were able to restore dilapidated basketball courts with new backboards and rims. Time Out 4Africa Foundation has started working closely with the Police Secondary School to start after school basketball training for young boys and girls. In the coming months, the basketball court at Police Secondary School will be a site for clinics and competitions during our annual basketball clinic week. We will keep you posted on our continuous efforts to encourage students to stay in school and get involved in extra-curricular sports activities.

Time Out 4Africa is very excited to share that Mohammed Isah, who was discovered at our clinic last year, has been offered a scholarship to attend high school in the United States. Mohammed is 6’9 inches and loves the game of basketball. Mohammed is grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Time Out 4Africa Basketball Clinic and look forward to playing basketball in New York City.
