Timeout4Africa Foundation continues to spread its mission all over Nigeria. In October our team made it all the way to Jos for a two day instructional clinic. We partnered with Bishop Kwash and his team at Zambiri school grounds in Nyango Chwel. Jos for our " Growing the Game" series with 50 school kids. Our team presented the team with 120 T-shirts, 4 basketballs, and 10 pairs of basketball shoes. The clinic was an instructional clinic where kids were taught life skills and fundamental basketball skills. Our project leader Mrs Briggs was also on hand to make sure the kids were well taken care of and feed lunch each of the clinic days. The students were encouraged to be good citizens and stay in school, and to practice the spirit of sportsmanship when they are playing sports.
The Patron of the school Mrs Kwashi was very appreciative and also individually take the members of our team for making the 7 hour drive from Minna to organize the clinic.
