Thank you for your generous donation in support of the TimeOut4Africa Education and Sports Foundation. We have good news to share with you!
In January during the clinic week, We identified about 40 school boys of the ages between 9 - 12 years, to join our juniors elite team. These kids meet once a month with local coaches and some few volunteer parents to work on both life and basketball skills. We are happy to inform everyone the we see tremendous improvement on and off the basketball courts. During the month of September 2019, we ran clinics and matches for the kids and at the end selected the best 32 players from 4 Basketball courts around Minna, forming 4 teams of 8 players each. These players competed in the 2 weeks Citywide championship.
We are also very happy to inform everyone that our student athlete Gideon, from our program in New Mexico, USA attending junior college has completed his first year. He is doing very well in his school work and also performance very well with the school basketball team.
