Donors,
Thank you for your donations!
All donations have been helpful in supporting the implementation of ongoing projects in Africa.
This update is to inform you of the success of the boys basketball team from Father O' Connell Government Secondary School (GSS) Minna and the girls from Zarumai model school Minna. The boys team was successful in winning the silver medal and the girls team was successful in winning the bronze medal at the annual Milo national Secondary School games 2024 in Lagos, sponsored by Nestle.
We are very proud to say that all the 30 kids on both team have participated in the Timeout4Africa clinic week in Minna and are supported in some kind of way by the foundation.
In the last week, the Timeout4Africa Foundation staff organized a Welcome reception for the boys and girls team, light refreshments were served. Mr Harry from the Timeout4africa foundation congratulated the kids and commended them for being good citizens and making all of us proud for winning the medals
Mr. Tanko, the game master at GSS Minna, extended a special thank you to donors and Time Out4Africa Foundation for the support given the kids . He also stated that he was thankful for all of the equipment available to kids and how delighted the kids were for having good shoes to use during the competition. He was also very proud to say all the student athletes were doing very well in there school work. The team is expected to visit the State governor later on in June to show him the trophy.
We will keep you posted on the progress of the team. Please continue to support us at www.timeout4africa.com. Follow us on social media at @timeout4Africa, and tell friends and family about our work.
