Be Enriched

At Be Enriched we work to empower and support community members at all levels. Each year we take on 5-6 interns to help them learn about how a small charity works and understand the impact it can make.

Here's two of our current interns reminicing about thier experiences:

2019 INTERNS

Be Enriched has allowed us to work closely with their management team, which has given us first-hand experience in how a charity is run. We have been lucky enough to be working with such a busy, frontline charity, where our impacts can be felt directly and immediately.

“As Communications and Media Intern I have been promoting the work that is done by Be Enriched on our social media platforms to encourage and inspire other people to get involved. This has involved ensuring that our platforms are regularly updated with relevant and enticing content, that is also informative. My role has also required me to create posters and flyers for all aspects of the charity, such as menus for cafes, posters for upcoming events, and leaflets for our canteens.”

“My role as Project Management Intern has involved liaising with key partners, scheduling and delivering projects, such as our recent project ‘The Great Debate’. This project involved gathering an inter-generational crowd to participate in a group discussion covering different topics regarding the community and sharing donated surplus food from local businesses. I have also been tasked with creating a Gant chart for the purpose of project delivery and time management.”
