In mid-June, our Ukrainian Hope Association (Ukrán Remény Egesület) finished the academic year, i.e. supplementary educational activities for Ukrainian refugee children aged 5 - 14 residing in Budapest, Hungary (Preparation for Elementary School; English; Hungarian; Arts).
But the work over The Beauty That Unites Us project went on into the summer: we arranged a daytime summer camp, where our teaching staff together with our educatees continued to comprehend the beautiful world surrounding us in Budapest. It was a fantastic session at our children’s camp, which left us with a sea of bright emotions, new friends, and unforgettable impressions!

We traveled through galaxies at the Star Wars Museum
Built our imagination brick by brick at the LEGO Museum
Took a ropes course at an adventure park
Enjoyed active recreation and sports on the picturesque Margaret Island on the Danube
And to top it off—we set off on an exciting hike through the Buda Hills, where we filmed awesome videos and captured the best summer moments!

The children discovered new things, developed, made friends, and simply enjoyed every single day. This session was not just a recreation, but a true adventure that will forever remain in their hearts.

Now September came, and we have started a new academic year, again with some serious but funnily presented subjects, and various masterclasses and presentations (the first - Shopper Bag Painting - is to be held this week, followed by Hallowe'en, Christmas and other parties)...
We hope that these activities will help us achieve the goal of the project - to learn and partake of marvelous customs, traditions and natural features common for our two homelands - Ukraine and Hungary.
