Educate a Mother, Free a Family

Mothers use Smart Goals sheet for wise budgeting
Mothers use Smart Goals sheet for wise budgeting

In the United States, single mothers often have access to support systems such as child benefits, food assistance, health care, and schooling that help them carry the heavy weight of raising children alone. But in Egypt, where poverty presses hard, most mothers have no such safety nets. Their children’s future depends almost entirely on what knowledge, strength, and skills their mother can grasp with her own hands.

This is why your generosity is life-changing. By equipping mothers with financial education and empowerment, you are giving them the tools to protect, nurture, and uplift their families in ways they never imagined possible.

Take Wadida’s story. At first, she did not see the urgency of enrolling her daughters in school. With scarce resources and little awareness, education felt like a luxury. But when she joined the “You Are Not Alone” program, something extraordinary happened.

Wadida learned how to budget. She learned how to allocate wisely between food, clothing, and her daughters’ schooling. Suddenly, money was no longer only about survival. It became a bridge to dignity and hope. With this new vision, she enrolled her daughters in school, cared for their cleanliness and needs, and even joined literacy classes herself.

Today, Wadida can read Arabic letters. Her daughters are thriving in school. And most beautifully, a mother who once dismissed education now treasures it as the golden key to her family’s future.

This is the ripple effect of your giving. Your generosity provides Egypt’s mothers with something even more powerful: knowledge, confidence, and the ability to dream of a brighter life for their children.

One budgeting workshop costs just $40. Will you invest in more mothers like Wadida so they can lift their families into dignity and hope?

Thank you for helping hundreds of mothers stand tall for their families.
