Eduarda, or Duda - as she likes to be called, was about to turn five years old when her parents received the news of the diagnosis, their little daughter had a very rare childhood brain tumours.

According to the doctors, that was very complicated, demanded doubled attention and much study of the medical team. After a delicate operation, thirty sessions of radiotherapy and eight cycles of chemotherapy, came the good news - the tumor was gone!

Duda beat the cancer! Now she returns to the hospital only for follow- up care.

"Today when I walk through the hospital corridors and meet the nurses, doctors and all the other people who have been so important to my daughter's treatment, I’m very grateful for all that the GRAACC Hospital has done for my child", says her mother.
