Challenge

Relevance of the project: the events currently unfolding in Ukraine, what we are experiencing today, are terrifying and painful. Even if we are not physically injured, everyone-both adults and children-feels stress. Blind children are especially vulnerable to the impact of war and its consequences.

Solution

We want to help blind Ukrainian children restore emotional balance through art therapy, learn to cope with anxiety, fear, aggression, and burnout, and also empower them to develop fully and prevent developmental delays. In addition to psychological training, we plan to organize a summer camp for 25 children from Kharkiv, a war zone.

Long-Term Impact

During the project, professional psychologists in our art workshops will not only develop children's psychological understanding of emotions and feelings but also help them recognize their feelings, express them, and confidently interact with their peers. It is important for us to support each child not only when signs of severe stress are already present but also to prevent emotional exhaustion.
