While the efforts of global infectious disease prevention have largely turned to focus on COVID-19 over the past two years, HIV continues to spread in Mali and education and prevention are as necessary as ever.
GAIA Vaccine Foundation continues to focus on HIV prevention through programs such as the Free HIV Testing program and the Chez Rosalie Mother-to-Child Transmission program. Both of these programs focus on knowing one's HIV status and creating better access to HIV testing, particuarly for pregnant mothers. In fact, all pregnant mothers are offered a free HIV test through this program.
From January to April 2022, 433 pregnant women have been tested for HIV at Hope Cener Clinic. Please support GAIA Vaccine Foundation today so that we can continue to offer these essential services in the Sikroro community.
Thank you for your commitment to GAIA Vaccine Foundation!
