This project was created to support the launch of 'Move for Peace', which took place in November and Decemebr 2024 Move for Peace was 421km run by Marko Kasic to showcase the suffering of children impacted by conflict.
The 421-km run concluded in Monte Carlo, Monaco, where Kasic joined global dignitaries and sports icons, including H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and football star Didier Drogba, for a Peace Walk. The symbolic walk highlighted the unifying power of sports and underscored its significance in fostering education and social inclusion.
The Red Balloon Project, inspired by the indomitable spirit of young survivors, aims to provide play-centred programs that restore a semblance of normalcy and happiness in the lives of affected children.
The project will resume fundraising efforts in November 2025 after a successful launch. All donors who contributed have been notified and informed. You may see the full Move for Peace coverage here.
Our work carries on and we are excited to share updates soon!
Thank you for supporting a safe childhood and a red balloon for every child.
With warm regards,
Heather
