Supporting the livelihood and education of visually challenged families is a powerful way to empower them, enhance their quality of life, and foster independence. We are deeply grateful for your generous support in helping visually challenged children gain knowledge through Braille books—an essential tool that enables them to learn, grow, and become self-reliant.
Unlike regular textbooks, Braille books are significantly more expensive, making it difficult to provide individual copies to each student. However, with your incredible support, we have been able to make this possible for many underprivileged children. To continue this effort, the Indian Association for the Blind (IAB) has launched the "Donate for Braille Books" campaign, aimed at creating and distributing accessible reading material in local languages, especially for children in rural areas.
This initiative not only covers school textbooks but also includes storybooks and general reading material for students from Class 6 to 12, helping to cultivate a love for reading and expand their horizons. With your continued support, we hope to reach more visually impaired students and help them access the education they rightfully deserve.
