The Sponsor for Braille Books initiative, supported by your generous contribution, has significantly enhanced access to education for students with visual impairments. Implemented by the Indian Association for the Blind, the program addresses the critical shortage of affordable Braille textbooks faced by students from economically disadvantaged and rural backgrounds.
Through this initiative, students from Classes 6 to 12 received Braille textbooks aligned with their academic curriculum, enabling them to study independently and keep pace with their peers. In addition to academic materials, general reading books were also provided, fostering confidence, literacy, and a sustained interest in learning.
Your contribution has directly improved educational outcomes for visually challenged students, empowering them with the tools necessary to pursue their academic goals with dignity and independence. We are deeply grateful for your continued commitment to transforming lives through education.
