As a non-profit Organisation, IAB aims at the wellbeing of the Visually Impaired. It brings them together as a family, lightens their darkness and creates a world where blindness is not an obstacle for someone to live a life like every other human being. Creating opportunities to the visually challenged is the prime motive of IAB, and every step of IAB is centred on this purpose.
Since 1985, we have served tens of thousands of children and adults of all ages in Tamilnadu and other states of India. Late Mr. Jinnah, a visually impaired and the founder of IAB, with the motive of equality of opportunities, worked hard to create an atmosphere where every visually impaired becomes self employed.
Education is the only way to survive in this busy world. And one of the source of being educated for the visually challenged is by braille books. Nowadays braille books printing is so much costlier because the cost of the paper used itself so expensive. So group of students are using a single set of braille books due to lacking. Also the books are not long lasting due to the usage by number of students at a time.
Your philanthropic interest in making them having their own braille books is deeply appreciable and this gives raise to $6,868 through 51 generous donations. We want to thank the philanthropist for their contributions and also the Global Giving who paved the way for us to utilize their donations from all over the world.
Who could imagine the happiness felt by the Visually Impaired in their lives? And you are their greatest hope, because you can help us repair what was tragically shattered in their childhood or in the course of their lives. It’s you who make the dreams of the visually challenged become a reality. IAB is just a bridge. Thank you for reaching out.
