Amid the severe humanitarian conditions in Syria, bread has become an essential lifeline for thousands of displaced families who have lost their sources of income and now rely entirely on humanitarian assistance. For these families, bread is no longer just daily food—it is a means of survival that protects children from hunger and preserves dignity after years of conflict and displacement.
In response to this ongoing need, Saed Relief and Development continues its daily bread distribution project in the most affected areas of northern Syria. Field teams work tirelessly to secure fresh bread from local bakeries and deliver it directly to families living in camps and impoverished communities, prioritizing households with children, widows, and elderly members.
This project has significantly eased daily hardship for thousands of families, providing a basic food source that helps them endure extreme poverty and rising living costs. Many beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude, emphasizing that this support reassures them they have not been forgotten.
We extend our sincere thanks to every donor whose generosity sustains this vital project. Your continued support ensures that bread reaches those who need it most, day after day. We kindly encourage you to keep supporting this initiative and to share this report with your networks so the impact can reach even more vulnerable families across Syria.
