On January 24th, International Education Day, the staff of Yasmin Bibi Girls College proudly participated in a vibrant event organized by our esteemed partner, Dosti Welfare Organization. This special occasion, graced by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province as the Chief Guest, resonated with the importance of education in shaping futures and empowering communities.

Our dedicated staff enthusiastically perused the informative stalls, brimming with displays and activities exploring various educational themes.

The highlight of the day was the captivating main event, where renowned speakers took the stage. Their insightful talks delved into the crucial role of education in Pakistan, emphasizing its power to transform lives and drive positive change. They underscored the vital collaboration between community initiatives and educational institutions, emphasizing the shared responsibility in building a brighter future for all.

Our staff were captivated by the speakers' passionate addresses, leaving them enriched and inspired. Their words resonated deeply with the mission of Yasmin Bibi Girls College – to provide girls with access to quality education and empower them to become agents of positive change in their communities.

With a warm smile, the College Director painted a vivid picture of Yasmin Bibi Girls College to the Governor, highlighting its transformative role in empowering girls through education.

A Joyful New Year Celebration

Dear Changemakers!

As we get on a fresh start in 2024, we wanted to share with you a glimpse of the joyous New Year celebrations at Yasmin Bibi Girls College, Pirsaddi. Your generous support made this special day possible, and we are truly grateful for your continued commitment to empowering the young women of our community.

The celebrations began with the cutting of a delicious cake, marking the start of a new year filled with promise. The air buzzed with excitement as students, teachers, and staff gathered together to share laughter, good wishes, and sweet treats.

Beyond the happiness, the occasion served as an opportunity for personal growth and goal setting. The students were encouraged to reflect on their aspirations and craft meaningful New Year resolutions. We guided them through the SMART goal framework, helping them translate their dreams into actionable steps they could take throughout the year.

Adding to the heartwarming spirit of the day, the students surprised their teachers and staff with handmade New Year cards. Each card was a unique expression of gratitude and affection, filled with heartfelt messages and colorful decorations. Witnessing the bond between students and teachers was a truly touching moment.

As we closed the celebrations, the air was filled with a renewed sense of optimism and determination. We could see in the eyes of the students a burning desire to make the most of the year ahead.

International Volunteers Day Celebration

Dear advocates of change,

Today on International Volunteers Day, Yasmin Bibi Girls College marked a momentous occasion under the hashtag #IfEveryoneDid. The college organized a community outreach program, where students engaged in various activities aimed at promoting positive change. This included a visit to a nearby government high school and primary school, with a focus on plantation, and the distribution of essential items like stationary, whiteboards, and shawls to deserving children.

Plantation Drive: Yasmin Bibi Girls College students actively participated in a plantation drive, contributing to environmental sustainability and instilling a sense of responsibility towards nature among the students.

Distribution of Educational Materials:
Stationary Kits: 31 stationary kits were distributed, ensuring that children have the necessary tools for their educational journey.
Whiteboards and Slates: With the assistance of Dosti Welfare Organization, 120 slates, 10 plants and 10 whiteboards were provided, enhancing the learning environment in deserving schools.
Warmth and Comfort:
Shawls Distribution: 15 shawls were distributed, providing warmth and comfort to children in need during the colder months.

Impact and Reflections: The students of Yasmin Bibi Girls College embarked on their first-ever volunteer experience with enthusiasm and dedication. The hands-on participation left an indelible mark on them, fostering a deep sense of motivation and connection to the broader cause of humanitarian service.

Collaboration with Dosti Welfare Organization: The event was made possible with the generous support of Dosti Welfare Organization. Their assistance in providing slates, plants and whiteboards significantly contributed to the success of the initiative, expanding the reach of our impact.

Certificates of Recognition: At the conclusion of the event, certificates were distributed among the participating students, acknowledging their commitment to community service and their invaluable contribution to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
