In the past two years, we have changed the lives of 250 girls giving them scholarships thus an opportunity to go to school ,all with your help.A recent survey showed that one in every 3 girl in eastern Turkey is a child bride.Girls are considered a burden to the families and married off early. If we can help them to go to school, they will have the prospect of making money, no longer be burdens to their families and choose when and whom to marry. Educated mothers will help break this cycle. Please continue your support and help us to have a lasting impact on the lives of many girls who are eager and determined to get education.

Seda from Nigde knows she will rescue her family from poverty if she can go to school and become a police officer:

“My name is Seda.I'm in the 6th grade.I have 3 sisters. My mother works hard for us:in the summer she goes to fields to pick strawberries, in the winter potatoes. While working mom forgets about herself, she even forgets to eat. When I come back from school I help her with housework. Food is a problem for us, sometimes we have nothing but breakfast, but mom tries to find something to eat.Since we don't have a stove at home, I sometimes feel cold; but I cuddle with my sisters and we don't feel the cold.

My dream is to go to high school and university and become a police officer in order to ease the pain of my mother and sisters.I really want to get an education, have a profession and thus rescue my family from poverty".

Every small donation helps to change a life and we feel privileged to be able to help them build a future for themselves. We thank you for your contributions..
