Breaking poverty cycle for 70 youths in Bogota

Next November 20th will be the 18th anniversary of Pintando Caminos, that day we started a small parish project by taking in 22 children in need of food and love.

In 2004, aware that these children had brothers and sisters who were also suffering from lack of food, we extended the coverage to them, so from 22 children we went to 44.

At that time I worked as a lawyer in a state company and I understood that the place where I wanted to be was near these children to see them grow and at that moment I organized my life to be part of this community in  Potosi neighborhood because I understood that there was not only hunger in the body but a lot of thirst for love in their hearts.

Since then, with the ups and downs, with times of scarcity and others of abundance, with anguish and many more joys, Pintando Caminos has kept the doors open and hopes, with God's help, never close them, because in these 18 years I have seen grow in age but also in spirit to more than a thousand children, I have seen how they fulfill their dreams, go forward and get up again to many of these whom I consider the children of my heart

So in our 18th anniversary, I just want to say THANK YOU once again!!! because not only with your support and help these children receive love, food, and education at Pintando, I could also fulfill the dream that as a child god whispered in my ear, help those most in need.
