STARTING THE NEW YEAR

By Alexandra Tamara | Director

Christmas Party
Christmas Party

During December, we had  a lot of activities,  we took the kids to the circus, we also celebrate our 10th anniversary celebration space where the kids dance and sing for all the guests and the other kids, was an amazing day where we could understand how we really impacted their lives , we also had the christmas party were we gave them the Christmas present , was very good to get 250 presents (pants, tshirts, shoes and a toy) and to give it to them

Thanks to all the people that help us, 2012 was a very good year for us, we grew, we accomplish  our goal and somehow transform the lives of our kids

Starting 2013, we have new challenges, when we open the inscriptions for the new year we received the surprise that more than 100 kids want to be in pintando caminos, especially in our must important project "learn paint and write", we also received the request of some teachers of schools in the area to received kids that have learning problems, that situation show us that what we are doing are making the difference.

To face that situation we decide to make bigger our project,  increase the number of kids in each group and received 50 new kids, we feel sorry with the others, but was impossible for us because we don’t have enough space and people to take care of all of them, we told them that we are working in growing a little more, and these is our goal for the 2014, make bigger our house and our team.

During this trimester, we start the homework project, but we also start our recreation project so we are taking  the kids every 15 days to a big park 20 block from the pintando’ s house to play soccer,  play in the park, jump the cord and have a happy morning with us

We start a new project “ PINTANDO`S EMBASSADORS”, what we want with this  project is to have more than 100  new persons committed with pintandos goals (BREAKING THE POVERTY CYCLE) in the 2013 Convinced with that commitment they have with the kids, they will help us talking to their friends and make that at least one of them  will help us and sponsor one kid.

Thanks to all of you
