On the evening of December 15 we gathered at the Jerusalem Felm Center for a magical night of songs in English, Hebrew, Arabic and Finnish, happy to renew this new tradition.
Two years ago we held such an evening for the first time and were so enthusiastic about it that we immedietly decided to make it an annual tradition, inspired by the Christian tradition of choral singing and adapted to the interfaith context.
Our interfaith encounter ensemble, that works together for already three years, joined by volunteers from other groups of the Interfaith Encounter Association, as well as Felm Center staff, played traditional Arabic songs, Christmas songs and Hanukkah Songs, chants and even a lullaby, and the audience sang along with great energy.
