About 25 young musicians, who live and breathe all kinds of music, came from all over Jerusalem to this moving encounter. We began with presentation by Briana Peretz (Internal Compass project), Yehuda Stolov (IEA), Prof. Michael Klinghoffer and Omar Jaber, who also took part in the project last year. Then we conducted an introductory round, in which participants introduced themselves and their musical background. We continued with Soundpainting workshops led by Jonathan Shahar, a musician and composer who lives in the United States. The various instruments got into action at this stage. During the workshop, Jonathan taught a method of conducting that includes signals enabling cooperative creation without words. Very quickly a creative group was built, in which everyone reflected their inner world and previous musical knowledge.

Li Teperberg, a singer from Jerusalem with BA from the Academy of Music, gave a workshop that focused on the work of a musician with himself - before and after a performance. A vivid conversation developed between all participants about emphases that musicians should put during training and preparation for a show. Among other things, a question was raised - what causes the feeling of success / failure after a show? Also, Li taught us improvisation exercises to develop capacity and strengthen confidence.
