Workshop with Yoav Freely
Yoav Freely is an educator at the Music Center and manages electronic music.
In the workshop, he presented us to the universe of music on the PC through the "Ableton" software.
The music world today works a lot with computers and gadgets, so it is important to open up to it and find out about technological advancements and how they can benefit creativity.
Yoav recorded the participants playing their instruments and after that displayed techniques for processing them on the computer.
This made another and fascinating work that combines the thoughts of the group.
"Workshop with Leo Espinosa
Leo Espinosa is a Cuban bassist who was a visitor in Israel and we were favoured to host his workshop!
Leo brought a considerable measure of vitality and joy to the workshop, which made everybody to smile and dance.
He worked with us through Cuban rhythms and percussion instruments.
The mix of rhythms built up our idea and control of drumming rhythms.
Leo gave personal reference to each participant and made a warm and charming feeling in the workshop.
