In northern Gaza, where families struggle under the weight of blockade, poverty, and displacement, Eid often comes without joy for many children—especially orphans. But this past Eid, 25 orphaned children were able to celebrate with dignity, warmth, and smiles, thanks to your generous donations.
Each of these children received a full set of new Eid clothes, tailored to their size and chosen with care to suit their needs and bring them joy. For them, these weren’t just garments—they were symbols of hope, dignity, and belonging.
These children, many of whom live with widowed mothers or relatives in damaged homes or temporary shelters, stepped out on Eid morning wearing their new clothes, radiating happiness. Their smiles told a story:
"We are seen. We are remembered."
At Umut Uluslararas Hayr Dernegi, we believe that bringing joy to an orphan on Eid is one of the most beautiful forms of human compassion. We are committed to continuing these efforts wherever and whenever possible.
Thank you for your kindness and continued trust.
We invite you to keep supporting Gaza’s children and help us spread this message—because every contribution creates real change, and every child deserves a reason to smile on Eid.
