Our Efforts are Raising Hopes.
By ABI HENRY ACHAH | Founder/CEO
The "Lifeline in MAHOLE: Clean Water for 8000 Lives in Kumba-Cameroon" project continues to make strides towards its goal of providing sustainable clean water access to the community of Mahole. We are grateful for the initial donation of $550, which has laid the groundwork for our ambitious target of $85,000. This funding has already facilitated essential preliminary actions, such as site assessments and community workshops that engage local stakeholders. These efforts are crucial for establishing a framework that ensures the project is not only effective but sustainable in the long term, ultimately benefiting the lives of 8,000 residents who are currently without safe drinking water.
As we move forward, we urge potential partners, benefactors, and community supporters to join us in this critical endeavor. Expanding our funding will enable us to commence the construction of boreholes and water purification facilities, essential steps toward improving public health and sanitation in Kumba. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal and significantly impacts the community. Together, we can transform the lives of the Mahole community by ensuring access to clean and safe water, a fundamental human right that will foster development and well-being for generations to come.

Water is Life!!
By ABI HENRY ACHAH | Founder/CEO
The HUFAC-CAMEROON project #60226, titled "Lifeline in MAHOLE: Clean Water for 8000 Lives," has made significant strides despite the challenges presented by the funding gap, having received $550 in donations. This contribution has allowed us to implement essential measures towards the provision of clean water, which is crucial for the health and well-being of the 8,000 IDPs in the community. We have successfully set up initial water purification systems, distributed water collection and storage containers, and conducted hygiene education workshops to raise awareness of safe water practices. These actions have already begun to show positive impacts, with community members reporting improvements in their health and a reduction in waterborne diseases.
However, a substantial amount of work remains to reach our overall goal of $40,000, which will ensure the full realization of our vision for MAHOLE. Additional funds are necessary to complete the installation of advanced purification systems, establish a sustainable water supply network, and expand our educational outreach. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors and GlobalGiving for their unwavering support, which has been instrumental in this project's early success. As we continue to strive for a healthier future for the residents of MAHOLE, we encourage further contributions to help us bridge this financial gap and ensure that 8,000 lives can thrive with access to clean water. Together, we can make a lasting change in this community.
