Challenge Families should not have to depend on unsafe or unreliable water sources for drinking, cooking and hygiene. Unsafe water can increase health risks and place an additional burden on women, children and vulnerable families.
Solution The project will work toward: Developing/improving a sustainable water source Water infrastructure Water storage Distribution points Hygiene education Community participation Long-term maintenance arrangements etc When Water Is Far Away, Everything Becomes Harder." And MAHOLE COMMUNITY HAS ENDUED FOR A VERY LONG TIME.
This Mohole village is primary beneficiary, while the surrounding communities, passer-by, visitors and strangers will benefit indirrectly. A water project management commitee will be setup to manage the water points. Each community will contribute an amount that will be determind thereof, each month for maintainance for sustainability. This desision will be decided & agreed upon by villages invlve supervice by the administration & HUFAC .
