It’s exciting to be building on the momentum from last year and already seeing how things take shape in 2026.
The first part of the year has focused on following up with the schools that received handwashing stations and making sure they are being used and maintained effectively. Through ongoing check-ins with teachers and staff, we’ve gained a clearer understanding of how the stations fit into daily routines, as well as where small adjustments are needed. These insights have helped us begin simplifying maintenance practices, clarifying responsibilities, and reinforcing consistent use within each school community.
At the same time, we’ve started to organize these learnings into more practical guidance that can support schools over the long term. The emphasis is shifting from just delivery to durability—ensuring that each station continues to serve students reliably and becomes a natural part of everyday school life.
Looking ahead, our focus for the rest of 2026 is to keep refining this approach, strengthen ongoing support, and prepare to reach more rural schools with a model that is not only scalable, but sustainable.
Thank you to everyone who continues to make this work possible.
