We would like to thank you for your very kind donation. You have helped us reach our target of £7,608 to build a block of 27 vitally-needed rescue kennels at our animal hospital in India. We are delighted and amazed by this success.
These 27 kennels will help treat up to 500 dogs a year that are brought in to TOLFA through our Rescue and Care Project. Millions of dogs live on the streets accross India and they are victim to accidents and injury as well as disease and infections. At TOLFA they are given the meidcal care and love they need to recover. With an individual kennel their healing progress is greatly improved. Every dog that is admitted is also sterilsied and vaccinated against rabies so that we are making the whole stray dog population healthier and safer.
Now we have reached the target to build our kennels, but what comes next?
There are still 3 more days to go in the Global Giving Winter Challenge and we want to continue our fundraising. We have increased our target to £8,648. The extra money we hope to raise will pay to kit out each of the 27 kennels with a food and water bowl, a plastic tub bed and 2 blankets. It will ALSO pay to feed all of the dogs every day for 6 months!
It has been an incredible journey and we are so glad that you have come with us and become part of improving the lives of these dogs. We would love to reach our next goal so please share our project page again with your friends and family and show them all what you've already helped to make happen.
Also, if you have not already please follow us on Facebook (TOLFA India & UK), Twitter (@TOLFA) and Instagram (@tolfaindia).
With gratitude,
Team TOLFA
