BUILD A PLAY CENTER FOR CHILDREN IN ARGENTINA

Potencialidades NGO is a non profit dedicated to children.  Every day 600 children play in safe places.  In Argentina 2 out of 3 children are poor.  The children are usually in the streets exposed to danger and violent situations.  They love their playing centers because they are allowed to be children and to play.

Our playground in Bancalari is almost done and we have had our official opening on December 1st, 2023.  We enclose pictures of the children, the coordinators of the center and some volunteers that participated that day. Thank to the last campaign with GlobalGiving we have used the money to paint the interior walls and to finish the plaster of the outside walls that they were also painted.  The new orchard has been set up with tomato plants and many plantpots made by the children.  We have continued with mosaicism art with children and volunteers to embelish the center and the neighborhood.  We use donated broken pottery to do such work.  A group of children dedicate during the year to do such works of art.  I enclose  one picture of that activity.

The children are enjoying the place and is much safer for them.  We still need to finish another bathroom and to continue doing the plaster work in the walls outside.
