Dear Donor,
Your steadfast support for our “Build a School for 1,150 Students in Northwest Syria” campaign continues to shape a brighter future for children like Majd al-Din—young minds who represent the hope and resilience of a country now free but still healing.
Majd's Journey: A Story of Resilience and Renewal
“It is a wonderful feeling to be learning with friends alongside you. I hope all children get to experience it.” – Majd
Majd, an 11-year-old boy full of determination, was forced to flee his home with his family and seek safety in the northern countryside of Idlib. Like many displaced children, he was forced to leave school behind. But thanks to your generosity, that wasn’t the end of his story.
When a new educational center opened in his area, supported by your donations, Majd eagerly returned to the classroom. Under the guidance of a dedicated teacher, he flourished—adapting quickly, progressing academically, and even taking on a leadership role by helping his peers with English lessons. His energy and compassion became a beacon of hope for his classmates.
Majd’s story is just one example of the power your contributions hold. You are not only helping to rebuild education—you are nurturing the next generation of Syria’s leaders, thinkers, and change-makers.
Syria Is Free—Now Let’s Secure Its Future
With the country finally liberated, a new chapter is beginning. But the struggle isn’t over. The road to rebuilding Syria’s future requires strong foundations—and education is at the heart of that mission.
Your continued support is critical to ensuring that children in northwest Syria have access to safe, quality learning environments where they can dream, grow, and lead.
Thanks to you, we’ve already made tremendous progress. But thousands more children are still waiting for their chance to return to the classroom.
Together, We Are Building a New Future
As we press forward with this campaign, we are filled with hope—hope that every child, like Majd, will one day sit in a classroom free of fear, surrounded by opportunity.
Thank you for believing in these children and in the future of Syria. Your compassion continues to pave the way for lasting change.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Bonyan Team
