We just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you our precious friend, you have been helping us throught the year, we feel we should share the joy of the season with you.
With your support, we wereable to raise roof, put up windows and doors, fix glass and dig a pit latrine, had it not been because of your support, we wouldnt have achieved that, other GlobalgGiving donors also went a head to provide school fees for the children and other requirements needed at school, last year some donors helped to fund for a special meal for the kids on Christmas, next year when we are done with the latrine, we will work on the only water source that serves over 500 househlds.
Now it's coming to the end of the year, lots of gift cards at Globalgiving and many more offers and there are less than 10 days remaining to the end of the year, you may consider giving a gain to enable us put a slab on the pit latrine, the pit is very dangerous in the compound as a child or an adult may accidentally fall in it.
Its a holiday time and all kids are at home, all have been promoted to New classes, next year they will have unique experiences in their new classes.
I could have shared this success story with you recently but I find it amazing and would like to share it with you again:Sarah always dreamed of being a teacher, but when her father died she thought there was no hope for her. Five years ago, Sarah moved into the children’s home and we immediately enrolled her in school to pursue a diploma in Nursery teaching education. She completed her course in just two years, and now she is teaching in one of the best schools in Kampala city. Since then, she has been able to help her siblings as well as sponsor herself for further studies in education.
Sarah is just one example of what is possible when children are able to follow their dreams. Some times children need someone to help them through school. With your support, you can help more children become like Sarah, and reach places that they never thought were possible.
