Hi, I hope you are doing great,
We are fine here at the Mountains of Hope, we are delighted to be able to achieve most of our goals this year, we are having the home constructions going on well as well as other projects,In the months of June and July, we are delighted to have 3 interns from the United States to provide support for our Maternal Nutrition Project. Over the course of 10 weeks, Mountains of Hope will be visiting 9 communities in Mpigi. We have visited 5 so far, and we have enjoyed getting to know some incredible women along the way. During our time with these communities, we discuss balancing meals, preventing malnutrition, exercising proper infant feeding practices, and installing "kitchen gardens." We will establish a kitchen garden in each of our target communities, hoping that they will have the skills and motivations to establish additional gardens in our absence. Mountains of Hope is establishing one vegetable garden in the orphanage this week to enable children have a balance diet.
Am also delighted to show you through this short documentary how Mountains of Hope makes a difference in Ugandan communities? Watch this short documentary and see how we implement Sustainable projects including the one you are currently supporting. https://youtu.be/d9oDhVvR5OQ
