Introduction
Our community school is located in the slums and at capacity as well as struggling to fund the monthly rent while providing a hot meal to every student and paying the teachers. It's simply overcapacity and unsustainable due to the inconsistency and lack of funding.
Report
The long term impact of this school will be incredible as it will continue to educate the children indefinitely as there will be no running costs due to the activities around the school bringing in an income to cover those expenses. This will provide job security for the staff and people who work on the school grounds and because the school will be using these sustainable activities to earn an income which will also provide jobs to the surrounding communities as they can work at the school. We have managed to raise $489 so far but still have a long way to go…
