Introduction
It is costly to run a school and provide quality education as well as fund staff, buy resources, run the school grounds and keep everything safe and suitable for the children to learn. Our goals with this project are to cut all these costs by building a 100% sustainable school in Kenya, that will be able to continue educating and feeding all 280 children regardless of the school's income.
Report
Currently, the school struggles to pay the monthly rent and this will be removed with the purchase of the land. We will remove the high costs associated with school dinners for the children daily by building veggie gardens, aquaponic systems and installing a chicken farm. We will purchase more bikes to increase the community bike hire program that the profits will be used to fund teaching staff salaries.
Please remember the little by little campaign in April 3-7 where if you donate up to $50, GlobalGiving will match it at 50%.
