Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for being part of our journey toward creating a sustainable school for children in Kenya. Your support means the world to us—especially right now.
Here’s where things stand: fundraising has been slow, and we’ve raised just over $911 USD toward our ambitious target of $300,000. We know that building a brand-new school won’t happen overnight, but we’re determined to keep making progress.
To that end, we’re exploring a lease-to-buy option with the current site owners. This lets us secure a long-term location without needing all the funds upfront. It’s a practical solution that keeps the kids learning in a familiar environment while we continue raising the rest of the funds we need.
Every dollar continues to support the teachers, classrooms, materials—and the kids themselves—on the ground, even as we work toward our larger goal.
If you’ve been waiting for a moment to give again, remember that GlobalGiving’s Bonus Day on July16–17 is coming up—a perfect time to make a match-eligible donation of $100 or more and boost your impact.
Thank you for believing in these children, our vision, and the power of practical solutions. With your support, we can get to the finish line—step by step.
Warmly,
The Team
