In 2023, the STEM Talents Incubator program achieved remarkable success, conducting 11 cohorts across more than 14 states and leaving a lasting impact on 357 individuals. The program focused on improve basic competencies in critical and computational thinking, numerical reasoning, and interpersonal skills through developed project-based methodologies, around an intensive 80-hour training.
The 357 young participants hailed from various social, urban, and rural backgrounds, coming together to collaboratively work on 47 projects that served as the culmination of their year-long efforts. This diversity not only enriched the learning experience but also contributed to development of the participants.
One of the program's key achievements was the demonstrable improvement observed in over 75% of the participants across at least one of the three targeted competencies—numerical reasoning, critical thinking, and reading comprehension.
Addressing Educational Challenges:
The release of the 2022 PISA test results by the OECD shed light on significant challenges in fundamental subjects such as mathematics, reading, and sciences.
