Respected Donor Namaste !!
Many Greetings from RSKS India !!
We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
It is the time of recession and reason being the unemployment has been increased everywhere. Due to excessive increase in population growth, the youth hasn't got enough opportunities to be employed and their may be possibility of getting their career ruined. Ultimately, their skills and capabilities become their support. If a person has skills then he will be able get employed and to earn livelihood. Keeping this view in mind, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the "Community Development Grant" support of Global Giving UK, organised a skill development training, for Sustainable Livelihood"
The primary objective of this skill development training is to train poor and uneducated girls and to get them better opportunities to be employed. In this series, fashion designing training program was inaugurated on 8th November in village Arjunpura. 15 school drop-out girls were selected for the training. In this 5-months training program, all 15 girls will be getting trained to stitch clothes. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan selected village Arjunpura due to some specific reasons. It a village where Rajput have the majority and purda pratha, keeping girls uneducated, etc. are its social evils. This makes Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan come forward to join women to self-employment. All girls are learning the basics of sewing with determination and hardworking and furnishing their skills.
Similarly, in village Rajgarh, 15 women of 15-25 age group were selected for Bag Making skill development training which was initialised on 14th November. The selected women of this village are also poor and uneducated and now have an opportunity to become self-reliant by getting the training. The training program of bag making will run for 4 months in which women will be trained to make various bags as jute bag, leather bag, canvas bag, clothe bag, etc.
The activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan checks the quality of the training program and supplies the requirements by times.
One of the trainees had conversation with our activists. In her words,.....
"My name is Ladu , resides at village Rajgarh. I am physically handicapped since childhood due to which I have had to face several problems in life. I have interest in study but my disability restricted me and I couldn't get education. When I was surrounded by disappointment, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan brought a ray of hope to my life. I became part of bag making training and now I am getting trained. I had no source of earning but now I have skill to make bags which is making me self-reliant and seeking for employment. I thank a lot to Global Giving, Community Development Grant and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan who joined us to skill development program and provide us an opportunity to build our future."
