Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organizes and manages skill development training in distant rural areas for women empowerment and to promote women self-employment. Women get training for different trades during skill development trainings. In addition to this, EDP, life skill and capacity building trainings are also held in the skill development trainings. In this session, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan life skill, EDP and capacity building training were organized during bag making training, beauty parlour, readymade garments training where women and girls watched inspirational videos and participated in knowledgeable & entertaining activities that helped them to build their capacity and boost the confidence.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan also organized a hat bazar(sale) cum exhibition so that the trainees may learn marketing strategies. The trainees of bag making training and garment making training participated in the exhibition cum sale enthusiastically where the products made by them were exhibited. Rural women appreciated the products and bought them that motivated the trainees. The officials of the village were also present in the exhibition and appreciated the hard work of the trainees and wished for their bright future.
The Story of IMPACT !!
Nisha, one of the trainees of Beauty Parlour Training organized and managed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation got the training facing so many difficulties. She was interested in beauty parlour training, but her family didn't let her move out of her house, then to she joined the program attended the classes regularly and learned with dedication. Nisha learned the art of beautification during the training. She got reward of her hard work and dedication when she was selected by a renowned beauty parlour in the job fare held by the organization at the completion of the training. After being selected, Nisha got so happy as her dream had came true. Now, she is self-reliant and doing her job in the renowned beauty parlour that earns her good income. Nisha moves out of the home with an aim and worked hard to achieve the aim and now she has got what she wanted to have for which she thanks GlobalGiving Foundation and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.
