An IMPACT~ Case Study !! A Story of Success !!

Ankita is a 30 years old married household woman resides in a small colony of the city. At the age of 12 years, her father was died in an accident and she had to leave the study. After some years, at the age of 17 years, she got married and she couldn't do much to make her future. She couldn't do nothing due to adverse conditions in her life. After marriage, she became a household woman and confined to the boundaries of her house.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a handicraft training at Bhagwan Gunj to make such women able in order to make their dreams true. Ankita got herself registered for the training. It was the first time when she moved out to be self-employed. She took regular training for 5 hours everyday and learned to make handicraft articles. She learned to make traditional Rajasthani doorbell, Bandarwar, puja thal, photo-frame, key-hanger, etc. in the training. During training, she felt increase in her confidence level and got motivated to initialize self-emplyment.

After completing the training, she started to make puja thal and doorbells at her home and sold them to her relatives and localites. All of them liked the stuffs made by Ankita and apprecited her work which got her more work. Now, she is doing hard work to complete the orders, and thus, she has got a platform in her life from where she may fulfill her desires.

Mohini is a 32 years old household woman resides at village Bhagwanpura Nadi. Due to child marriage, a social evil, Mohini was married at an early age in her childhood which shattered her dreams. She had to leave study being ill for a long time, afterwards she couldn't do in her life what she wanted and became a household woman. She wanted to move forward in her life, but in lack of resources she couldn't do nothing.

When Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized garment making self-employment training in Bhagwanpura Nadi, Mohini got herself registered for the training to make her dreams true, but here to she found difficulties as she had never operated sewing machine. Accepting the challenge, she did hard work and learned sewing in the training. Gradually, she learned all sorts of art of sewing and proved herself. During training, she practised sewing work at her home. Thus, till the completion of the training, she got perfection to sew several costumes as lehnga, Rajasthani suit, frock, caperi, blouse, salwar suit, etc.

Now, Mohini is full of confidence and stitches clothes for her family members and other neighbours with her new sewing machine. Mohini uses new designs to stitch clothes which are appreciated by her customers and others. Therefore, she has got orders from other villages for stitching clothes which gets her a good earning. Now, Mohini has become self-reliant and making her dreams true.
